Some of the sources that matter most only give up their answers to a person who goes and looks. The Vima Clinical specialist team checks them on a disciplined cycle, knows what drift looks like when it appears, and steps in when intervention is needed.

Quarterly verification cycles

Every panel, every SKU, every quarter. We check the clinical-system listings (EMIS, SystmOne, Vision, ProScript), wholesaler catalogues (AAH, Alliance, Phoenix), Drug Tariff classifications and prices, and ICB Formulary status. Each row gets a new last-verified-at and last-verified-by.

Weekly cycles during a launch

When a SKU is in active launch, the cycle compresses from quarterly to weekly. Same panels, same checks, faster cadence. The Launch Tracker auto-detects what the platform can; the specialists handle the rest.

Drift investigation

When the platform flags something, a specialist investigates. Is the discontinued flag real, or did a system make a mistake? Is the new price a one-off concession or a permanent change? Specialists distinguish noise from real issues before your team has to.

Correspondence on your behalf

When intervention is needed, we draft the NHSBSA query, contact the wholesaler, raise the ticket with Optum or FDB. The customer's MA lead reviews and authorises; we do the operational work.

Two hours of specialist time per SKU per year is pooled across your portfolio and included in every contract. Heavier engagements bill at our standard hourly rate above the included pool.

How a single drift event plays out.

The specialist drafts an email to AAH's catalogue team and to Alliance's product manager, citing the dm+d update and the date it went effective. Your MA lead reviews, approves the wording, and signs off.

When the wholesaler catalogues update, the Wholesaler Listing Audit panel flips green. The audit log captures the full chain: when the dm+d change landed, when the drift was flagged, when the correspondence went out, when the catalogues caught up.
